- They were found unresponsive in a third-floor apartment on the 2300 block of North Leavitt Street on July 10, 2026, around 3 p.m.
- The Cook County Medical Examiner attributed both deaths to "the combined effects of cocaine and fentanyl."
- Suspected narcotics and two straws were found near the women during the initial police response.
